Keeping Kids Safe

Cleona Campmeeting is committed to insuring that children entrusted to our ministry are cared for, taught by, ministered to, and served by adults who have been screened and trained in compliance with the laws of the Commonwealth of PA and to the prudent standards of our insurance company.

In that respect, all volunteers and employees of the camp, because youth ministry is a core part of our mission, are required to submit clearances and take part in mandatory reporter training.

Clearances

The Commonwealth of PA requires the following clearances to be submitted to the camp.  They are good for 60 months/5 years from the date of issue.

Volunteer PSP and PA Child Abuse clearances are free if you select the Volunteer option.

PA State Police

PA Child Abuse History

If you have lived outside of PA within the past 10 years you must also submit a FBI Criminal History Check.  This has a fee.

FBI Criminal History Check

If you currently live out of PA the following guidance from the PA DHS applies since the camp is less than 30 days:

"Individuals who reside in another state or country may serve as a volunteer for no more than 30 days in a calandar year, as long as they provide clearances from their state or country of residence."

This video is password protected. To receive the password please contact the Campmeeting at webmaster@cleonacampmeeting.com

As you watch the overview you will also need to answer the questions on this form.

After you answer the questions and hit the submit button, they will be sent to the campmeeting to be corrected. If your answers are correct you will receive a certificate stating you have watched the video. If your answers are not correct you may be asked to review your answers and resubmit them.  This may take a few days to get a certificate.

A BIG Thank you to the MIllersville Bible Church for granting us access to this training free of charge
